Description:

Pure Storage, a global leader in reshaping the data storage industry with innovative technologies, is seeking a Value Consultant (Value Management Lead) to join its UK team based in Staines-Upon-Thames. This role is a critical position focused on helping customers maximize the full potential of Pure’s advanced data platform.

As a Value Consultant, you will work closely with account teams, stakeholders, and clients to design, present, and validate business cases and value propositions that demonstrate the economic impact of Pure’s technology solutions. This role blends financial analysis, consulting expertise, and IT understanding to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.

You will be responsible for developing value assessments, financial benchmarks, and ROI models, as well as conducting post-sale value realization to ensure clients achieve the benefits they expect. The position requires strong communication, analytical, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence both IT and business decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive client value propositions in collaboration with account teams and stakeholders.

  • Present value propositions to client stakeholders, gaining consensus on expected benefits.

  • Build, validate, and deliver client business cases in both cashflow and profit & loss formats.

  • Partner with teams to ensure Pure’s value is monetized effectively in commercial deals.

  • Contribute to client proposals and present economic justifications to IT, Procurement, and Finance leaders.

  • Conduct post-sale assessments to measure realized client value and report outcomes.

  • Develop financial benchmarks and models for repeatable value assessments.

  • Keep models updated with new value levers and industry trends for continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, consulting, or IT-related fields.

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and ability to communicate using financial terminology.

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with proven advanced modeling experience.

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into compelling business value.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence diverse stakeholders.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with experience working across geographically dispersed teams.

  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering measurable value.

  • Willingness to travel part-time to engage directly with clients.
