Description:
We are looking to recruit a Registered Vet Nurse with a surgical bias to join the team at a busy, successful small animal practice in the Basildon area of Essex.
Role:
- Excellent full time permanent opportunity
- 40 hour week (early, middle and late shifts on rota) with no OOH
- practice is spacious and purpose built with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, flexible and rigid endoscopes, 16 slice CT scanner, Colibri II Synthes power drill, ENSEAL and harmonic devices etc.
- busy caseload with wide variety of soft tissue surgeries, minimally invasive procedures and lots of orthopaedic procedures in-house
- role offers a good development opportunity with plenty of theatre work, anaesthesia and pain management etc.
- clinical coach qualification ( or willing to train) is also desirable
- join an experienced team working alongside Certificate holders in orthopaedics, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging
- well located 30 mins by train into London with direct transport links to Southend and Stansted airports and within easy reach of the seaside.
Requirements:
- Qualified Vet Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Good communication skills
