Veterinary Dermatologist

Wear Referrals, a renowned multi-disciplinary referral hospital under Linnaeus Veterinary Limited (a Mars company), is seeking a Veterinary Dermatologist to join its dynamic team in County Durham, UK. This full-time, on-site position is open to Advanced Practitioners, Residency-Trained Professionals, or Board-Certified Diplomates specializing in dermatology. Flexible working patterns, including part-time options, are available to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

As a Veterinary Dermatologist, you will manage referral dermatology cases either as internal referrals from other specialties or from external primary care practices. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative team that includes over 20 EBVS and RCVS-Recognized Specialists across various disciplines such as neurology, surgery, medicine, oncology, cardiology, imaging, and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological cases in a state-of-the-art referral setting

• Collaborate with specialists across disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Work closely with in-house teams including physiotherapy, radiology, and laboratory departments

• Provide support for clinical teaching, research, and CPD where applicable

• Maintain excellence in care standards, contributing to a positive team culture
