Vets for Pets Portsmouth, an RCVS-accredited and independently run small animal practice, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced and friendly team. Located near the South Coast, this practice is well-regarded in the community for its commitment to honest, high-quality veterinary medicine and personalized client care.

You will work alongside practice owner Justyn (BVSc BSc MRCVS), senior vets, and a highly experienced nursing team that has over 30 years of combined experience. The practice is equipped with modern facilities including a brand-new ultrasound machine, direct plate radiography, and K-laser therapy, with plans for a full refurbishment to expand facilities further.

The role is busy yet structured, with 15-minute consults (longer for complex cases and new colleagues), protected admin time, and paid overtime. Full-time hours are 39 per week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9–12pm), with no OOH (out-of-hours) work required. Flexible part-time opportunities are also available.
