Vietnamese Interpreter

Description:

Premium Linguistic Services is urgently seeking qualified and experienced Vietnamese Interpreters for face-to-face interpreting assignments in London. This is an immediate requirement and ideal for interpreters who are available at short notice and have strong experience in in-person communication support.

Assignments may include interpretation in healthcare facilities, legal appointments, social services, and community outreach settings. Interpreters must demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to deliver accurate, confidential, and fluent interpretation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person consecutive or liaison interpretation between Vietnamese and English speakers

• Ensure clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate translation during live conversations

• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics in all engagements

• Collaborate with agencies, public service professionals, and community members

• Arrive punctually and conduct oneself with professionalism and cultural competence

Requirements:

• Must be UK-based (applications from outside the UK will not be considered)

• Proven experience in interpreting Vietnamese in live, face-to-face settings

• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English

• Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality

• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one (preferred)

• Flexibility for urgent or short-notice assignments
