Description:

We are responsible for the delivery of nearly 4 million examination results per annum, including A-Level, GCSE, BTEC and T-levels for students in UK and International centres. Our in-house systems process every learner from registration to marking and certification, in a highly regulated business. We currently operate a hybrid estate of predominantly bespoke systems, with an ongoing strategic transformation programme to migrate from on-prem to cloud based, cost effective, scalable, and resilient services.

About the Job

The position is for an Apprentice Web Content Manager. Alongside your training you’ll gain the following hands-on experience:

  • Learn to provide governance, guidance and support to business users and content authors in planning and optimising customer journeys, ensuring content is clearly presented and signposted.
  • Train on how to deliver centralised content projects and support requests for ad hoc updates to copy/documents on websites, including editing content supplied by the business and building new pages/content areas, ensuring a high level of customer service is provided to business and content owners.
  • Learn how to use web analytics and other digital marketing tools to provide insight to optimise customer journeys, improve conversion rates and website goals and improve the quality of website content.
  • Taught how to use our web content management systems
  • Translate business requirements into functional requirements
  • Learn about web usability and accessibility
  • Create training and support documentation
  • Use a ticketing system to handle content requests
  • Basic HTML coding would be useful but not essential.
