We are currently growing our core development team and looking for more talented individuals who will complement our business delivering innovative enterprise SaaS products to the luxury yachting sector. We’ve built an exciting business over the past few years which we are very proud of. But we’re not finished yet. Our market-leading platform already powers some of the luxury yachting industries largest and most popular websites and industry tools, used by thousands of people every day, but we have many more interesting and innovative projects that we want to pursue and we need more enthusiastic and driven developers to help make our plans into reality.

We're looking for people excited and knowledgeable about developing on the web, managing large data sets and building great interfaces. We hire engineers with a passion for architecting, building, testing and maintaining robust, scalable systems, and who enjoy working on the entire stack.

Working in an agile environment, you will work on all stages of website development: from gathering the requirements with the colleagues such as UX Designers and business analysts; to designing and developing the implementation, to maintaining and improving the live sites.

This may mean taking a lateral approach to resolving problems, developing new tools and components, or collaborating with colleagues often doing all three - sharing ideas, techniques and solutions. It will be fast, and at times you will have lots of problems to solve.

What's Needed?

As a web developer or software developer, you will have proven experience in producing web-based applications and can demonstrate a real depth of knowledge around PHP development technologies and their capabilities. Equally important as technical fluency is the ability to get to the heart of an issue to understand the key drivers or why something does or doesn't work.

Familiar with Agile design and development environments, you must also be comfortable talking in 'ideas' and 'conceptual' terms - as well as technical.

Experience & Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or extensive experience of relevant work experience
• PHP, Apache, MySQL / PostgreSQL, PHP
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures & algorithms
• Experience integrating with external systems over a range of APIs
• Solid experience of using PHP, JavaScript, HTML
• Git or similar version control system
• Experience administering Linux servers
• Demonstration of a questioning approach
• Good communicator - able to liaise directly with clients and colleagues on technical subjects.
