Welder, You Will
 

  • Manufacture, modify or repair to a technical drawing, sample or instruction.
  • Progress the work / job on a routine basis, from initial inspection to final inspection, in line with the requirements stipulated by the Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC).
  • Identify materials and tools as required for the job, ensuring continuity of the work.
  • Ensure estimated timed jobs and deadlines are met - this may involve extra working hours.
  • Ensure that any daily / weekly equipment checks are carried out when required and reported and documented accordingly.
     

We Are Looking For
 

  • City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in Welding and Fabrication; experience in manufacturing, modifying or repairing plant and equipment to a technical drawing, sample or instruction.
  • Coded welder qualification; fork lift truck operator as desired.
  • Knowledge and Experience in a similar role previously.
  • Health and Safety trained - CSCS card.
  • Environmental awareness, Manual handling and ability to read technical drawings.
