Windows Systems Administrator

Description:

Join a leading international software company as a Windows Systems Administrator working primarily in a 24/7 production environment. Your focus will be on maintaining and supporting Windows Server infrastructure alongside VMware environments. The role includes incident response, performance monitoring, and infrastructure reliability improvements within a team of about 30 engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (~90+ servers).

• Participate in a 24/7 production environment and On-Call rotation.

• Support multiple medium to high complexity systems and applications.

• Manage Mail, DNS, FTP, IIS, and Application environments.

• Work on physical data centre tasks such as cabling and racking.

• Communicate operational events to stakeholders and leadership.

Skills Required:

• Strong Windows Server administration experience.

• Active Directory management skills.

• Experience with AWS EC2 and VMware environments.

• Knowledge of SAN Storage and Linux.

• Experience in a production environment.

• Relevant certifications desirable (Microsoft Certified, VMware Certified, AWS Certified).
