Year In Industry Student

Description:

We are looking for 3 Year in Industry Students to work within the Environmental Sustainability, Health & Safety and Security areas, based in Milton Keynes.

You will currently be associated with a course specific to either Environmental Sustainability, Health & Safety, or Security. You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to influence others in the decision-making process. You have strong project management skills and attention to detail and you're great at organising tasks, events, and people. You're competent in using IT applications, working with, and analysing data, developing communications materials. You'll have knowledge of and a passion for managing issues.

You will spend the year with either our Environment and Sustainable, Health & Safety, or Security development team, and will have the opportunity to learn from our technical leads.

You'll be helping to manage the risks and opportunities of Network Rail's work through implementing responsible business practices. Your work will support communities and manage the reputation of our business. You could be researching and writing case studies and guidance notes or reports based on incidents or best practice, supporting awareness activities, offering technical support, or collecting and analysing data.
