Description:
As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for the design, build, testing, and implementation of SAP module functionalities. You will provide expert‑level skills and knowledge in the development, testing, and delivery of automotive application and business process solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Explore, design, build, test, and implement SAP UI5 Fiori and ABAP solutions across projects or programmes.
- Prepare project documentation including business process documents, design documents, functional specifications, and UT, UAT, and regression test documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and flexibility based on project demands.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven expertise in the evaluation, development, testing, and delivery of automotive application and business process developments using SAP ABAP.
- Strong experience across ABAP technologies including Core ABAP, ALE/IDOC, HANA, HR, Workflow, and Web Dynpro.
- Hands‑on experience handling complex ABAP developments including enhancements, function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, workflows, reports, smart forms, RFCs, IDOCs, and interfaces.
- Experience creating technical specifications, test cases, and estimates for developments and enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of ALV reports, OO ALV, classical reports, background jobs, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience ensuring integration system activities meet SLAs, including scalability, availability, and archiving requirements.
- Strong understanding of interfaces, ALE, IDOCs, middleware, and legacy system integrations.
- Experience contributing to business process design and evolution.
- Experience working as a technical ABAP lead on at least one end‑to‑end implementation.
- Strong experience working on SAP implementation projects, with knowledge of support models, SLAs, and KPIs.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Experience in the design, configuration, testing, debugging, delivery, and support of SAP Automotive processes.
- At least two full‑cycle SAP implementation experiences as a SAP UI5 Fiori and ABAP Consultant.
