Hunter Bond is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join an elite FinTech trading firm operating at the cutting edge of financial technology. As part of a global infrastructure engineering team, the Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of high-performance network systems that underpin the firm’s trading and research operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and maintain network infrastructure across routing, switching, security, proxies, and related systems.

• Design and deploy scalable, low-latency network solutions to support global trading operations.

• Manage incident response and escalation (L1/L2) to ensure uninterrupted system performance.

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and network diagnostics.

• Lead greenfield projects, contributing to system design and architecture from inception to deployment.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet critical deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in network automation using Python and Ansible.

• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE, and VRF.

• Cisco certifications required; CCIE certification is highly desirable.

• Experience working with cloud-based network solutions such as AWS and GCP.

• In-depth understanding of network security, scalability, and optimization principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in time-sensitive environments.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working within global engineering teams.
