Account Manager

 

Description:

Our client a reputable organisation within the field of Medical Devices currently seeks a talent Account Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. In this role you will join the respiratory team and be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s customer base in the Midlands. With a strong blend of clinical insight and commercial expertise, you’ll drive sales growth, build lasting partnerships, and champion our innovative respiratory solutions for adult critical care, neonatal, and perioperative use

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and grow key accounts within NHS and private healthcare settings
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and decision-makers across the region
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic customer engagement
  • Present technical product information confidently to clinical teams
  • Develop account-specific business plans and identify new market opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, clinical, and product teams

 

Required Experience

 

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Clinical Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in a sales or account management role in the medical device industry (especially respiratory)
  • Strong commercial acumen and budget management skills
  • In-depth understanding of NHS procurement processes
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-starter able to work independently while being a strong team player
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the territory
