Description:
Embryo, a fast-growing digital marketing agency, is seeking a Senior PPC Account Manager to join its Manchester-based hybrid team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paid media professional to lead strategy, manage high-value accounts, and contribute to the growth of Embryo’s award-winning PPC department.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients with significant budgets, take ownership of PPC strategy and delivery, and work closely with both clients and internal stakeholders to achieve outstanding performance results. You will also play a leadership role within the PPC team, mentoring junior staff and ensuring commercial accountability across all accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management: Deliver advanced Shopping and lead generation campaigns, applying proven techniques to maximise results.
Strategy: Work alongside the Head of PPC to design proactive strategies while keeping pace with the latest Google and Microsoft updates.
Delivery: Take accountability for PPC execution on some of Embryo’s largest and most valuable accounts.
Client Management: Handle medium to large-scale accounts with monthly budgets exceeding £100,000, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Relationships: Confidently lead client calls, reporting sessions, and strategic reviews.
Auditing: Regularly review and diagnose account performance, with pitching experience considered desirable.
Training & Development: Run training sessions and workshops for junior staff to enhance overall team capability.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior team members, providing feedback, onboarding, and fostering professional growth.
Commercial Accountability: Ensure time, costs, and performance are effectively managed for each client.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in PPC, with proven success managing large accounts across different industries.
Demonstrated expertise in Google Ads (including Shopping and lead generation) and Microsoft Ads.
Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
Excellent time management with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Passionate about PPC, innovation, and driving measurable results.
Team leadership experience with the ability to mentor, resolve conflicts, and drive improvements.
