Description:

Farrans Construction is seeking a dedicated Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the People and Engagement Team. This role supports both operational and strategic HR functions within a fast-paced construction environment, focusing on training coordination, compliance, HR systems, onboarding, and employee records management. The role emphasizes collaboration within the team to ensure smooth delivery of HR services and overall team needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to daily queries and support the People & Engagement team.

  • Support onboarding by preparing induction materials and arranging training sessions.

  • Schedule and communicate training initiatives, ensuring employee competencies are maintained on time.

  • Coordinate logistics for training materials.

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement events and initiatives.

  • Represent the company at external events as required.

  • Assist with expense tracking and invoice processing.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

  • Collate information and prepare reports as needed.

  • Provide support for HR systems: respond to queries, compile and deliver information, generate reports, and contribute to HR process and system improvements.

  • Support audit and compliance reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the complete MS Office suite.

  • High attention to detail, excellent prioritization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficient with technology or technology adept.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-team environment.

  • Previous administration, coordinator, or data entry experience.
