Recruit with Purpose are partnering with a Housing Association on their digital transformation journey, and they are looking for an Applications & Systems Manager to lead their applications & systems team through a period of growth and development.

This is an organisation that has been through an incredible digital transformation journey. Joining the organisation at this time, you will be leading the Apps & Systems team as they implement and integrate new systems and look forward into the future to keep this Housing association looking forward and not just ‘keeping the lights on’

In this role you will be:

  • Leading and managing the Applications team, fostering a culture of high quality delivery, clear ownership and effective collaboration
  • Taking ownership of business-critical systems, ensuring they remain reliable, maintained and aligned to the needs of the organisation
  • Driving application development and system improvements, delivering new implementations, enhancements and integrations that make a real difference to the business
  • Serving as the key point of contact for external consultants and contractors, ensuring third party work is delivered to the right standard and on time
  • Maintaining the data warehouse and ensuring management information and reporting is accurate, timely and accessible to those who need it

 

To be successful in applying for this position, you will need the following:

  • Experience of developing or improving housing management systems
  • A background working on data preparation and data warehouse projects
  • Knowledge of SQL, Business Intelligence methodologies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business
  • Previous experience working in a customer focused environment would be advantageous
  • Experience working within a housing association would be highly desirable
