About the Company:
UK Overheating is the UK's first company dedicated to the assessment of overheating in dwellings. We specialize in ensuring compliance with Approved Document O (England & Wales) and Scottish Building Standard 3.28.

Our unique approach integrates environmental constraints associated with building sites to create a comprehensive overheating strategy, balancing thermal comfort, acoustic comfort, and indoor air quality.

Role Responsibilities:
The Architectural Technician will:

• Process 3D drawings and create detailed 3D models using dynamic thermal modelling software.
• Document and present designs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
• Participate in both in-person and remote work activities as directed by the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Architectural Technology and Architecture practices.
• Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D modelling tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with building regulations and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or a related field.

Work Arrangements:

• Location: Hybrid work model based in Birmingham, UK.
• Remote work flexibility as determined by the company.
