Role Overview And Responsibilities

We require a number of Operators to join our Production Assembly teams on permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Work to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (SOP's) to manufacture complete cable harness assemblies. - Activities include but are not limited to measuring cable lengths, cable stripping, contact crimp and soldering, referring to wiring schematics to ensure contacts are correctly located in the connectors, heat shrinking of protective sleeves and installation of heat shrink boots.
• Run production processes as instructed whilst maintaining productivity and quality levels at the required standard.
• Carrying out inspection of own work before passing to the next process to ensure quality remains at a high standard.
• Accurately complete documentation as require to record production & quality data.
• Follow housekeeping rules and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
   

Additional Information

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

You will be required to work within a team but also unsupervised to meet deadlines. You will need to be flexible as depending on production volumes you may be moved between production departments.

Ideally, the candidate will have previous factory experience. However, this is not essential as full training will be provided. Attention to detail is key and a high level of accuracy to avoid any errors.
