Description:
Psicon is actively seeking compassionate and skilled ADOS Clinicians to join its Independent Clinical Network for on-site, face-to-face assessments in Cheltenham. This is a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals who embody Psicon’s values of commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness, to work directly with children and young people presenting with potential neurodevelopmental challenges.
As part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), the clinician will conduct structured ADOS assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis, sensitive family communication, and high-quality report generation that adheres to the highest clinical standards.
Conduct comprehensive ADOS-2 assessments as part of an MDT for children and adolescents.
Engage effectively with neurodiverse children and young people in a warm, age-appropriate, and professional manner.
Deliver high-quality, detailed assessment reports in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with internal and external professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery.
Attend and contribute to Psicon Reflective Practice Meetings, ADOS Q&A sessions, and CPD events to maintain and enhance professional standards.
Must be HCPC-registered from any of the following disciplines: Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Occupational Therapy.
Must hold ADOS-2 certification; experience with BOSA is highly desirable.
Demonstrates strong clinical skills, with a track record of producing peer-reviewed, reliable ADOS reports.
Has excellent interpersonal, communication, and IT literacy skills.
Willingness to work flexibly across varied clinic models, venues, and days.
