Moore Barlow, a prestigious and people-centric law firm, is seeking a qualified Associate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their well-regarded Private Wealth Team in Richmond. The Richmond-based team is led by Partner Richard Burgess and caters primarily to high-net-worth individuals with assets between £5M and £20M.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of private client matters including:

    • Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

    • Succession and lifetime planning

    • Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning

    • Estate administration

    • Trust creation, administration, and wind-up

  • Act as a reliable and trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients

  • Mentor and support junior lawyers, solicitors, and trainees within the team

  • Actively participate in marketing and business development efforts to promote team growth

  • Contribute to the collaborative and empathetic culture of the department

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

  • Strong experience in Private Wealth / Private Client matters

  • Ideally 4–7 years of hands-on experience managing private client caseloads

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with clients, especially during sensitive life events

  • A creative, team-oriented, and human-first approach to client service

  • Interest or experience in business development and external engagement

  • Flexibility to work both onsite and from home (part-time or flexible working may be considered)
