Global Motor Sales Ltd, a well-established and growing automotive dealership and service centre in Launceston, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join their professional and friendly team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and a consistent Monday to Friday work schedule.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service and safety. You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale, diagnosing faults, performing routine and advanced repairs, and ensuring all maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently

• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing to regulatory standards

• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications

• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure workflow and quality standards

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

• Prior experience in a workshop or dealership environment

• Proficient diagnostic skills with a hands-on, proactive approach

• Full, valid UK driving licence

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to delivering exceptional workmanship
