Description:

HSBC Asset Management, part of the HSBC Group, is seeking an experienced ETF and Indexing Business Development Director to join their team in London. This role focuses on expanding the adoption and market penetration of HSBC’s passive fund offerings, including ETFs, OEICs, and ICAVs, across the UK market.

The Business Development Director will identify sales prospects tailored to UK client needs, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders such as asset managers, fund of fund managers, private banks, and wealth managers, and drive new business growth. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire sales process from origination to closure, developing high-quality sales materials in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and achieving agreed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the adoption of HSBC ETFs and index funds across all UK market segments

  • Collaborate with client proposition and product specialists to create compelling sales materials
