Business Development Manager

A Newly created position has been generated within the broader sales team to increase our market share of the multi-day event market. The position is focused on attaining high-value and multi-day conferences.

This is a pivotal position which is critical to us achieving our corporate goals, and as such you will receive the support required to succeed.

The Candidate

Will be well versed in:

· writing and implementing a 2-5 year sales strategy

· opening and developing relationships with agents and large corporations

· bid writing and responding to tenders

· Identify and attend events where we should be represented

· Maintaining CRM with accurate data

· Closing the deal

You will be able to demonstrate across a minimum of 3 years a successful track record of the above at a similar venue and will have experience in courting agency relationships as well as effectively prospecting for new business within the conference market. Your industry knowledge and ability to build impactful partnerships will be underpinned by a positive, enthusiastic and energetic approach to the challenge. Resulting in you attracting and closing new business.
