Description:
You’ll become a key team member, working as part of a motivated team with the opportunity to build your skills and knowledge as a clinical skills technician. You’ll be responsible for preparing the clinical skills facilities for our diverse student body, involving setting up equipment and practical classes, carrying out husbandry duties with our teaching dogs, preparing models, ordering consumables and assisting academics as they deliver teaching and support students as they work through their practical learning activities. In this fast-paced environment there’s lots of variety, lots of interaction with veterinary school students, academics and Technicians and our teaching animals.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in animal welfare and a practical approach to work. You will be familiar with working in a clinical environment through either your own education or through practical animal-based work experience. Training will be in place to support and develop you in the role. A degree or formal technical qualification is not essential.
If you are enthusiastic, keen to join the University, and are motivated to do things differently and open a world of new possibilities, we would be delighted to hear from you.
