Commercial Account Executive

Vanderbilt Insurance, a forward-thinking, high-net-worth insurance brokerage, is looking to expand its talented team by hiring a Commercial Account Executive to help launch and lead its new Commercial department. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, leveraging innovative technologies to deliver seamless, high-quality insurance services. This role will involve both face-to-face and phone-based prospecting to identify and convert new commercial clients, while also nurturing and strengthening existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new Commercial clients both in person and via phone.

• Maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and high-quality customer service.

• Assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored, customised solutions.

• Conduct risk assessments and review existing insurance coverage.

• Present insurance proposals, explaining coverage details and options to clients.

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as an Insurance Broker, Account Executive, or Account Handler in the Commercial insurance sector.

• Strong knowledge of Commercial Insurance products, especially property insurance.

• Experience with Acturis is highly preferred.

• Expertise in working with high-net-worth clients is essential.

• Ability to cross-sell across the insurance portfolio within the business.

• Strong client-focused approach with a commitment to finding the best policy for each client.
