As a Commercial Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support across the business, handling commercial contracts, intellectual property rights, and copyright matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating and drafting media and digital content agreements, as well as key commercial contracts with authors, editors, and business partners.
• Managing IP rights, licensing, and copyright issues, ensuring compliance with publishing industry standards.
• Handling contractual disputes and copyright infringement cases as they arise.
• Advising on commercial contracts and ensuring legal risk mitigation.
• Working closely with internal teams to provide strategic legal guidance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong commercial contracts experience is essential.
• IP law expertise, particularly copyright (contentious and non-contentious), is highly desirable.
• Background in media, publishing, or digital content law is advantageous.
