Description:
Partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will advise on a broad range of competition law matters across European markets. The role offers strong visibility and involvement in strategic, business-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on EU competition law issues, particularly abuse of dominance and horizontal and vertical agreements
- Provide competition law support on M&A transactions, including risk assessment, merger control, and post-deal integration
- Design and roll out practical, commercially focused compliance programmes suited to a consumer-facing business
- Support on distribution models, pricing strategies, and commercial partnerships within a B2C framework
- Liaise with external counsel and, where relevant, competition authorities
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer (10 years+ PQE) with solid EU competition law experience, gained in private practice and/or in-house
- Strong expertise in abuse of dominance and agreements, ideally within a B2C or consumer-facing organisation
- Experience advising on M&A transactions from a competition law perspective
- Proven ability to implement effective compliance frameworks
- Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver clear, actionable advice
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
