AJ Fox Compliance is recruiting a Conflicts Analyst for a prestigious international law firm on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Based in Leeds with hybrid working options, this role is integral to the firm's legal risk and compliance operations, focusing on conflict of interest checks and business acceptance risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze information related to new legal matters with internal legal teams.

• Conduct comprehensive database searches to identify potential conflicts of interest or business acceptance risks.

• Evaluate and interpret complex search results from internal and external systems.

• Escalate identified conflicts or risks to senior team members for resolution.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining information barriers where necessary.

• Undertake targeted research using legal and commercial resources to support conflict checks.

• Build and maintain knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and commercial compliance requirements.

• Support training, awareness, and education initiatives related to conflicts management processes within the firm.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in conflicts analysis or a relevant legal services background.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to liaise across all levels.

• High attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Flexibility and adaptability in managing diverse legal compliance tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (£2,916 – £3,750 per month).

• Hybrid working model with flexible hours (core hours 11am – 7:30pm).
