Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing and supervising site personnel on a busy construction site.
- Lead by example—set, monitor, and enforce high standards for safety and quality of work.
- Take responsibility for health and safety compliance on site.
- Ensure employees have the necessary training and expertise to work safely and professionally.
- Manage labour resources efficiently to maintain productivity.
- Uphold site discipline, report incidents, and take appropriate action when needed.
- Supervise and train apprentices in accordance with relevant training programs.
- Utilize the purchasing system to acquire materials in a cost-effective manner.
- Assist in ensuring systems are successfully handed over to the client.
Qualification:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical trade qualification with strong technical understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive approach to people management and leadership.
