Consultant Psychiatrist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to work clinically and develop this management role within the NHS GGC Gender Service, based at Candleriggs in Glasgow City Centre. This is the largest multidisciplinary service of its type in Scotland providing care to adults from eight Health Board areas and young people across Scotland.

Applicants should have full GMC registration, a licence to practice and be on the Specialist Register by the time of starting post.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to a CCT in Psychiatry or within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of Interview. Those eligible for specialist registration (CESR) should be in receipt of this at time of interview. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
