Uddingston Hockey Club is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator to enhance the club’s digital presence and bring its brand to life through engaging content. This role involves on-site content gathering and creation, particularly focusing on short-form videos (TikTok & Reels) and photography for social media and the club’s website.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for sports marketing, with the ability to follow brand guidelines and deliver visually compelling content that resonates with the club’s #UddyFamily community. Responsibilities will also include generating ideas based on industry and social media trends, creating engaging graphics, and collaborating with the club’s external marketing support.

There is potential to expand the role to include social media management, handling the club’s content calendar on Monday.com, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers to grow the club’s online presence. This position offers a mix of on-site and hybrid working, with flexibility on days worked, but availability on Saturdays during the game season is essential. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and capture high-quality content for social media and web, including short-form videos and photos

• Edit videos and design graphics using tools like Canva and CapCut (or similar)

• Generate innovative content ideas aligned with sports and social media trends

• Ensure brand consistency across all content

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth workflow

• Manage project timelines and deadlines efficiently

• Attend meetings to provide updates on content and campaigns

• Carry out other related tasks as needed

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong background in content creation (video, photography, graphics)

• Passion for sports and community engagement

• Knowledge of social media trends and audience engagement strategies

• Strong copywriting skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail

• Experience using Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
