Content Writer

Description:

The editorial team are currently recruiting for a Content Writer to join Velocity Black to curate and tell the remarkable stories behind the products and experiences on our platform. In this role, you will help build Velocity Black’s authoritative tone of voice across its verticals: Travel, Experiences, Dining, Luxury Goods, and Private Aviation.

What you'll do

• Write engaging content for the app, across all verticals

• Create copy for outgoing campaigns, such as newsletters and push messages

• Input work into the CMS and ensure it's ready for publication

• Complete tasks associated with disseminating content, such as building newsletters and organising in-app carousels

• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to the development of content strategy

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a ‘yes first’ mentality and a ‘can do’ attitude. You should have the ability to learn quickly and work in a high-pressure environment with tight timelines. Ideally you will have outstanding project management skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. You should demonstrate a keen understanding of the luxury consumer in the digital age and the latest trends in technology and consumer engagement. You should have a flare for story telling and have the ability to bring stories to life across multiple format aswell as a high proficiency at copy-editing and proof-reading.
