Contract Test Engineer

Cure Talent is delighted to partner with a leading medical device company specialising in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge medical safety equipment.

Due to increased workflow, we have an urgent need for a Test Engineer to join the business to work across new and legacy products.

Core role responsibilities include:
 

• Design, develop, and execute software verification tests for medical devices.
• Analyse software requirements and design specifications for testability.
• Develop functional, integration, interface, and unit tests for software applications and firmware using knowledge of test methods, equipment, and platforms.
• Create test scripts for automated verification tests.
   

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science or software engineering
• Experience working in regulated industry such as medical, automotive or aviation.
• Able to interpret requirements and develop test plans and tests.
• .Net, JavaScript and Python programming knowledge
• Experience carrying out embedded systems testing.
