Pinsent Masons LLP, a globally recognized top 100 law firm, is seeking an accomplished Corporate Finance Senior Associate to join its dynamic London Corporate Finance team. This position is ideal for a seasoned corporate lawyer with substantial experience in equity capital markets transactions and public M&A, looking to work within one of the most respected and innovative corporate legal teams in the UK.

The Corporate Finance (CF) team forms a key part of Pinsent Masons’ international corporate practice and has been identified as a strategic growth area for the firm. The successful candidate will work closely with leading partners and legal directors to deliver complex, high-value, and cross-border corporate finance work for listed companies, investment banks, and financial intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on IPOs, secondary fundraisings, takeovers, and other public market transactions.

• Provide ongoing corporate governance and compliance advice to listed company boards under the Listing Rules, AIM Rules, and MAR.

• Support clients across a wide range of sectors, offering commercially sound and practical legal advice.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management within the firm’s expanding corporate practice.

• Collaborate closely with partners and associates across multiple jurisdictions to handle multi-jurisdictional transactions.

About the Team:
The London Corporate Finance team, led by Edward Stead, is composed of 16 partners and legal directors specializing in M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, and corporate governance. The team handles some of the most high-value and cross-border corporate transactions in the UK, serving an impressive roster of clients across diverse sectors.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 7 years PQE, ideally from a leading City or international law firm.

• Proven experience in equity capital markets and public M&A transactions.

• Strong technical skills with excellent commercial awareness and business development aptitude.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Strong academic record and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
