Cost Manager

Description:

Join a unique client-side cost and project management consultancy specializing in prestigious European luxury retail and hospitality refurbishment projects. Projects range from £5m to £30m and are located across major cities including London, Paris, Monaco, Madrid, Milan, Zurich, and Düsseldorf.

This role offers a blend of hybrid working with exciting travel opportunities, approximately 3 days per month, to beautiful European cities to oversee high-end refurbishment projects designed with the finest materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proactive cost management throughout project lifecycles

• Conduct site progress inspections and monitor variation tracking

• Manage valuations and agree on final accounts with contractors and suppliers

• Oversee procurement processes and manage cash flow and financial reporting

• Collaborate closely with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in construction cost or commercial management or quantity surveying, preferably within a client-side consultancy

• Experience with luxury projects and/or proficiency in a European language is beneficial but not essential

• Ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to professional growth

• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe (approximately 3 days per month)

• Strong organizational, communication, and financial management skills
