The Role | Creative Director

 

This is a pivotal role responsible for defining, elevating and protecting the Myprotein creative vision across all touch points, product, campaign, digital, retail, social, packaging and experiential.

 

You will own the global creative direction, ensuring the brand continues to premiumise, differentiate and culturally resonate in an increasingly competitive health & wellness market.

This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on creative excellence/execution. You lead a small in-house creative team and partner with the creative function at THG Studios, performance marketing teams and commercial functions, to drive a creative standard that directly impacts revenue, brand equity and cultural relevance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the global Myprotein creative platform and visual identity.
  • Lead the development of brand and campaign creative across global & localised creative projects.
  • Define, create & drive brand & creative consistency across packaging, digital, social, CRM, retail and partnerships touch points.
  • Create world-class art direction and brand storytelling
  • Champion best-in-class creative testing frameworks (A/B testing, iteration, optimisation).
  • Elevate athlete, influencer and partnership creative output.
  • Build a high-performance, no-ego culture aligned to THG’s DNA.
  • Set clear creative standards and accountability for delivery.
  • Develop succession planning and internal creative talent progression.
  • Work closely with NPD, Commercial, Ecommerce and Performance teams to understand how you and your team deliver channel/platform specific creative output with the right learning and feedback loops
  • Translate both brand and commercial objectives into powerful creative solutions.
  • Partner with global markets to balance central brand control with local relevance.
  • Ensure creative timelines match the pace of a fast-moving ecommerce business.
  • Stay ahead of design, Nutrition, Activewear, fitness, wellness and digital trends.
  • Identify new formats, channels and creative technologies, utilising AI to elevate, optimise and scale creative output wherever possible.
  • Push Myprotein into brand culture, not just performance marketing.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior creative leadership role within a consumer-facing brand (health, wellness, activewear or lifestyle preferred).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, campaign leadership and cross-channel execution.
  • Track record of leading and scaling creative teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link creative decisions to revenue and performance.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, consumer insight and cultural relevance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Confident decision-maker who thrives in fast-moving, performance-driven environments.
