Customer Assistant

Description:

Morrisons is currently hiring Customer Assistants to join their Market Street and Cafe departments at their Chorley store. The role is ideal for individuals with a friendly, helpful attitude who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As part of the team, you'll play a key role in creating an excellent in-store experience for customers, working across fresh food preparation, service counters, replenishment, and the café area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve and assist customers with a helpful and friendly manner

• Prepare and handle fresh food products in areas like fish, meat, and pizza counters

• Serve food and beverages in the Morrisons Café, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

• Support other departments, including replenishment and customer service, as required

• Use a range of store equipment safely and effectively

• Deliver high levels of store presentation and service

Key Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and approachable personality

• Willingness to work across multiple departments

• Enjoys being active and working in varied roles

• Uses own initiative to solve customer issues

• Capable of maintaining health & safety standards

• Must meet minimum age requirements based on UK school leaving regulations
