Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data scientists to deliver business objectives across multiple channels
- Improve and maintain all pricing optimisation for new business and renewals
- Actively influence the evolution and improvement of the company’s predictive models as well assure its appropriate monitoring
- Work as part of companywide collaborative squads, ensuring data driven decisions, with the use of predictive analytics
- Be able to analyse, communicate and explain data science use across multiple projects in a way that will influence key stakeholders from across the business

Requirement
- Experience in managing teams with multiple different tenures and levels of experience
- Strong, rock-solid statistical background with the ability to criticise, review and sign-off models to then be deployed liv
- Previous experience with individual lines pricing optimisation can be a differentia
- Use of AWS or Databricks to help guide the team in building pipelines and models for data science, ensuring best practices, and efficient model implementation
- Strong understanding of domains such as pricing, risk, and statistics as well as the key drivers of performance within the financial services sector
- Ability to translate between both technical and non-technical colleagues and become a bridge between more traditional areas of business, driving them to be more sophisticate
