Delivery Driver

Description:

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Retail Divisional Driver to join their trading team, based at the Warrington Regional Distribution Centre. The role involves distributing donated and new stock across shops and superstores in Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, and Derbyshire. This position plays a key role in increasing shop profitability while acting as an ambassador for the charity’s mission to beat cancer.

The role provides the opportunity to work in a vibrant, dynamic environment, supporting the movement of stock, participating in fundraising activities, and contributing to the opening and refitting of shops and superstores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transfer goods between shop locations to ensure effective stock flow.

• Support divisional and national stock movements in line with stock generation campaigns.

• Assist with the setup of new shops and superstore openings, including moving and storing stock and equipment.

• Identify opportunities to generate high-quality donated goods.

• Use excellent customer service skills to engage with customers and supporters positively.

• Support fundraising events by assisting with stock and equipment movement.

• Complete relevant paperwork accurately and manage workload effectively.

• Strong driving skills, including confidence in unfamiliar areas.

• Manual handling and physical endurance.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
