As a Junior Business Development Executive, you will assist with new business queries, risk information, quotes, report writing, system updates, and prospect interactions. How You'll Make An Impact
- Support the business development team by handling new business queries and preparing quotes.
- Assist in report writing and analysis to identify potential areas for business growth.
- Update and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Shadow senior executives to learn about effective business development strategies and techniques.
- Attend client meetings, either virtually via Teams or occasionally in-person, to gain exposure to client interactions and understand their needs.
- Interact with warm leads and prospects to build relationships and convert them into potential clients.
- Work towards an agreed sale target
About You
- A recent Graduate or School Leaver who is looking for an entry level position in insurance broking.
- Prior experience within a customer service or sales role is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Strong drive to progress into a Business Development role in the future.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Salesforce exposure is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
