Development Specialist

Moog is looking to recruit a Learning & Development Specialist in Tewkesbury. In this role you will be a member of the Enterprise L&D team, supporting our global Talent Development Centre of Excellence

You will be expected to support the effective delivery of our learning and development strategy globally and this will include the deployment of our training initiatives and team effectiveness solutions.

As we build out our enterprise development solutions, the Learning & Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting program execution. This includes the delivery of Moog Mentoring, Moog Gigs, Leading & Coaching People, and a range of other key people development initiatives.

You will also support the effective management of our key vendors globally; this includes understanding their strategic purposes and evaluating success.

What you can expect day-to-day

• Delivers learning solutions to include training on behalf of the COE

• Supports the planning, management, and facilitation of the implementation and delivery of existing and new COE-developed global programs

• Supports our Learning and Development Partners with the delivery of team and individualized assessment for growth and development

• Supports the ongoing management of key vendors globally

• Represents the region with engagement and change adoption strategies to include liaison with the L&D Community of Practice

Minimum Requirements

• Typically, 3-5 years of experience in a training or facilitation role

• Ability to confidently facilitate and deliver across a range of different training interventions

• Strong customer focus with an interest in developing a deep understanding of the business

• Skills in juggling competing priorities and workload

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual team

• Understanding of adult learning principles with the ability to apply this in practice

• Exceptional communication skills including verbal, written, and active listening

• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
