Lofthouse Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Director / Partner to lead its Oxford office within a highly respected, world-renowned architectural practice. This is a rare and prestigious opportunity for an experienced leader in architecture to shape the future of an established and thriving studio.

The practice has a diverse project portfolio that includes civic buildings, education, hotels, residential schemes, commercial projects, and public projects. They are trusted with some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and internationally due to their ability to integrate design with the local context.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Oxford office in collaboration with the main board and studio leadership.

• Drive business development by building and strengthening relationships with existing clients rather than relying solely on a personal client network.

• Act as a client-facing partner, overseeing project leadership and ensuring smooth project delivery.

• Take client briefs and transform them into successful projects while leading bids and proposals.

• Represent the practice at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings, serving as the face of the studio.

• Provide mentorship and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and positive working culture.

Requirements

• A degree in architecture or a related field.

• Proven experience in a UK-based architectural practice at Associate Director, Director, or Partner level.

• Strong project leadership experience across a range of UK projects.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

• Ambitious, approachable, and team-oriented with a strategic mindset.
