You will become part of a collaborative team that includes 4 Optometrists, 2 Pre-reg Optometrists, 1 Contact Lens Optician, and 12 shop floor colleagues, supported by 3 dedicated in-store partners.

As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customers’ vision and quality of life through expert fitting and dispensing of eyewear solutions. This role goes beyond technical knowledge—it also demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and genuine empathy for clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and dispensing services to customers, ensuring correct fit, prescription, and comfort

• Support pre-registration and junior colleagues with guidance and mentoring

• Assist in delivering an exceptional customer journey from consultation to collection

• Uphold Specsavers' clinical and operational standards

• Contribute positively to store targets and performance goals

• Take part in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills
