As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care services, supporting patients through their optical journey, and helping maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment within the store while developing your leadership skills to take on greater responsibilities in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-quality patient care, ensuring an outstanding optical experience for every customer.

• Accurately interpret optical prescriptions and recommend suitable eyewear solutions tailored to customer needs.

• Support and guide patients in frame selection, lens types, coatings, and fitting adjustments.

• Collaborate closely with the store management and optical team to ensure smooth operations and a customer-first environment.

• Participate in management activities, leadership training, and ILM development courses to enhance your professional growth.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products, technologies, and best practices.

• Provide supervision and support to pre-registration opticians when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: BSc (Hons) in Ophthalmic Dispensing.

• Registration: Must be a registered Dispensing Optician with the General Optical Council (GOC).

• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.

• Team-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• A genuine passion for optical care and continuous professional growth.

• Salary up to £30,000 per year (approx. £2,500 per month).
