Description:

Major Logistics is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their operations in Chesterfield, England. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who have at least one year of HGV Class 1 experience and are looking for a consistent and well-paid driving role with a respected logistics provider.

Drivers will be engaged in general trunking work and must be available for either day or night shifts, with Monday to Friday as standard and weekend availability preferred. The company offers weekly pay, accrued holiday benefits, and stable, ongoing work for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 HGVs for general trunking work

• Perform daily vehicle checks and comply with legal driving standards

• Ensure all loads are transported safely and delivered on time

• Maintain accurate records using the tachograph

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence for 12 months or more

• Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

• Valid Tachograph card

• Prior experience in HGV Class 1 driving

• Strong awareness of road safety and UK transport regulations

• Flexibility for varied shift start times, including day and night shifts

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Days & Nights (varied start times)

• Type: Full-Time, On-Site

• Pay: £17.00–£18.00 per hour
