Electrician

Description:

Bromford is seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join their team. The main responsibility of this role is to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and perform 1st and 2nd fix electrical work as part of planned kitchen and bathroom programs. This includes rewiring kitchens, upgrading accessories, installing new shower circuits, and certifying completed work. The role requires a person who is technically skilled and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on properties.

• Complete 1st and 2nd fix electrical works as part of kitchen and bathroom programs.

• Rewire kitchens, upgrade accessories, install new shower circuits, and test and certify completed work.

• Ensure high standards of customer service and communication.

• Travel around Birmingham and surrounding areas to complete tasks.

Skills & Experience:

• 18th Edition qualification or equivalent time-served experience.

• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Qualification.

• AM2 Qualification (preferred but not essential).

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications/Education:

• 18th Edition qualification or equivalent.

• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate.

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification.

Team:
This role requires flexibility and independence in travel, working primarily in Birmingham.

Travel Requirements:
This role involves significant travel across the Birmingham area, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Languages:
English (spoken and written).
