Carriera is seeking a motivated and experienced Employers Agent to join a thriving construction consultancy in Winchester. This role offers the opportunity to manage residential development projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful project delivery through contract management, budget oversight, and stakeholder collaboration.

This position provides genuine career progression, allowing you to develop a specialist team, expand service offerings, and work alongside building surveying, project management, and cost consultancy experts.

Key Responsibilities:

📑 Project & Contract Management

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring contractor performance and adherence to project goals
• Manage pre- and post-contract meetings with clients, developers, and contractors
• Assist in compiling Employer’s Requirements, specifications, and tender documents
• Ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and warranty providers

🔍 Monitoring & Compliance

• Conduct on-site inspections, including pre-handover snagging
• Track project progress through a master programme, ensuring critical deadlines are met
• Manage adoption agreements for highways, drainage, and off-site works
• Assist in contract execution, performance bonds, and warranties

📊 Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Provide audit information, including floor area schedules, life cycle cost calculations, and insurance re-building costings
• Collaborate with project consultants and coordinate specialist surveys
• Review contractor and developer drawings and specifications to align with client objectives

Key Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Experience in an Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or Building Surveying role
✅ Strong knowledge of residential development and contract administration
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Ambition to develop a team and expand service offerings
