Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Inspire: Manage and develop a team of 6–10 engineers, promote a culture of inclusivity and collaboration

• Align & Deliver: Translate product strategies into actionable engineering plans that balance delivery speed with long-term technical sustainability

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product and design leads to define priorities, shape roadmaps, and ensure delivery of customer-centric solutions

• Raise the Bar: Maintain high standards in software quality, reliability, and security using metrics and engineering best practices

• Scale & Optimise: Ensure teams are structured and resourced for current and future demands; support hiring, talent development, and retention strategies

• Drive Continuous Improvement: Promote experimentation, learning, and shared knowledge across teams to improve overall engineering efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong background in software development, especially in platform engineering

• Effective people management and team leadership capabilities

• Analytical approach to using engineering metrics to improve team effectiveness

• Knowledge of distributed systems, scalable software design, and DevSecOps

• Deep commitment to building diverse, inclusive, and high-performance engineering cultures

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a growth mindset and low-ego approach
