🏢 Work Setup: Onsite / Hybrid (25–50% travel across client facilities statewide)
Our client is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist to ensure all operations meet environmental laws, safety standards, and sustainability goals. In this role, you’ll act as both a watchdog and advisor — monitoring compliance, reducing risks, and supporting teams across multiple sites to protect the environment and maintain operational excellence.
🌎 What You’ll Do
✅ Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
✅ Conduct audits, inspections, and environmental risk assessments.
✅ Handle hazardous waste, solid waste, and pollution prevention programs.
🎓 What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste, and PCB regulations.
Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience in utility, industrial, or energy environments preferred.
Certifications like CEP, CHMM, or OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER are a plus!
