European Direct Tax Manager

Our client is a successful financial services group which is expanding rapidly. This growth poses challenges to the Group Head of Tax in several areas, not least:

• Compliance and Regulatory Risk
• Systems and process rolling program of improvement, to cope with the increased demands
• pre and post acquisition tax structuring
• Transfer Pricing

This new role, supporting the Group Head of Tax, will take responsibility for the direct tax compliance (Compliance is outsourced and must be guided and monitored closely) and for the tax accounting and reporting systems and processes in Europe for the group.

In addition you will be involved heavily in M&A Tax work and also structuring, so it is a very broad and rewarding role. The group culture is very people and family focused and so the hope is someone will see this is a chance to forge an in house career, not just find an in house job.
